Burj Al Alam will be an iconic addition to the skyline of Dubai and an architectural masterpiece that will be acclaimed the world over. Rising up to 108 storeys, it will offer ultra-modern offices, a five-star hotel, a high-end shopping plaza as well as the world's first roof top spa. Engineered by Arup Japan and designed by none other than Nihon Sekkei Japan & TAK (Teo A. Khing of Singapore), it will be 484 mtrs high (1588 ft) making it the tallest commercial tower in the world. Construction will begin in 2006 and the project is expected to be completed by 2010.
Burj Al Alam will offer offices and residencies of uncommon beauty and style - as well as the most enticing array of amenities, recreation and pleasures. The tower is strategically designed to accentuate the view of Business Bay Creek on the South side and the Burj Dubai super-high rise tower on the North. An extensive podium design, with specialty design retail spaces that feature luxury designer brands, will serve as the first point of approach.
Envisioned to make UAE a global commercial and business centre, the Business Bay is a new city within the city of Dubai and is created as a commercial and business cluster along the new extension of the famous Dubai Creek extending from Ras Al Khor to Sheikh Zayed Road.
