Veneto is a residential and commercial development located in Dubai Waterfront, Jebel Ali.
Veneto is a 2 million sq. m. development that includes 2,613 residential units, office space, retail outlets, and dining facilities. Once completed, it will accomodate 13,900 residents.
This project is the third phase of Dubai Waterfront, a 3.3 million sq.m. community development that comprises four districts: the Boulevard, Madinat Al Soor, the Resort, and the Marina.
The vision of the Veneto masterplan is to create neighbourhoods of timeless elegance. Designed around the needs of individuals, Veneto is the Waterfront district where the most innovative principles of community design produce a thoroughly comfortable and sophisticated environment, and provide a standard of living worthy of marquee status. Exquisite properties with water views or direct access to Palm Cove Canal; homes affording an ample sense of space; short walking distances between shopping centres, schools and other amenities; convenient marina access; beautiful tree-lined streets and an abundance of parks and green spaces together lend an air of refinement and calm.
Piazzas
To enhance the livability and attractiveness of the district, Veneto is structured as a series of neighbourhoods, each centred around a piazza. These piazzas are community gathering places with shops, cafés and restaurants to meet residents' daily needs. As the focal point of each neighbourhood, the piazzas add convenience to daily life in Veneto while creating a vibrant and interactive environment for residents to engage with each other.
Commercial Space
Veneto is a mixed-use district with commercial office spaces located in and around the neighborhood piazzas. These commercial spaces allow residents to live and work in close proximity, minimising carbon footprint and affording more family time.
Parks
Veneto includes a variety of open spaces, providing a range of environments for residents of different ages and with varying recreational preferences. Community parks are located throughout Veneto, no more than a five-minute walk from any home, for informal play and recreation.
The Palm Cove Canal
As the northern border of Veneto, the Palm Cove Canal affords residents direct access to the Arabian Gulf and beyond. Making its way across the community, the Canal branches off at several locations within the district, terminating in the neighborhood piazzas and creating water squares. These serve as convenient locations for ferry stops and water taxi pick up and drop off points, as well as enjoyable places to relax by the water's edge. All along the Canal's scenic banks are boardwalks, which are perfect for walking, bicycling or just taking in the view. Together with the parks and other green spaces, the Palm Cove Canal enhances the sophisticated look and feel of Veneto.
Walkability
Veneto's picturesque streets and lanes are specifically designed for walking. The streetscapes are enhanced by the location of garages in the rear of many villas, as well as by extensive boardwalks along the Palm Cove Canal and other waterways. These allow for long expanses of landscaped and shaded footpaths that are ideal for a stroll, a bicycle ride or a walk to the beach. The tree-lined paths also intersect with green spaces, which offer a perfect place for children to play and for adults to sit back and relax.
Dubai Waterfront is strategically positioned between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with direct access to Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road – the main artery of the Dubai road network – the Jebel Ali Free Zone and port, one of the world’s largest ports and the new Jebel Ali International Airport, which will be a major catalyst of development in the area. The development’s location ensures it is easily accessible on a local, regional and international basis.
